My first overseas business trip

When I was a student, I dreamed about working a 9 to 5 job and having business trips. At the first company, I don’t have chance to catch my dream, until now at the second company with the same work, I have chances to go some where to meet domestic clients, moreover, by my efforts for more than two year, I’m rewarded an overseas business trip, WPA 10th Anniversary Conference at Phuket, Thailand.

This was my first time attending a conference, there are so many new things to learn. I met CEOs, directors, managers from many logistics companies all over the world, some of whom are the same age as my grandfather and most of them the same age as my father, some ones as young as me.

To be honest, I’m a bit nervous and timid because of my bad English and my taciturnity, I also don’t have as much knowledge as the other seniors. I always put so much pressure on myself, it’s only the learning trip, I shouldn’t expect too much at the first time.
